Self-Discipline

How's here has always lost your own motivation, doesn't want to push yourself forward, and doesn't want to take action? If it does you need to learn how to develop self-discipline. So what is self-discipline is the ability to push yourself forward, stay motivated, and take action, regardless of how you're feeling, physically, or emotionally. Self-discipline is different from self-motivation or willpower. Motivation and willpower contribute to it as fo persistence and hard work. So how do develop self-discipline?

Find your own motivation. Once you've chosen a goal in your life, list the reasons why you want to achieve it and try to express their reasons in a positive way. For example, instead of saying "I want to exercise four times a week to lose weight," say "I want to exercise so that I have the energy to play with my children."

Create new habits by keeping them simple. It feels daunting at first to acquire self-discipline and work a new habit. To avoid feeling intimidated is just keep it simple. Break your goal into small, doable steps. Instead of trying to change everything at once. Think one thing consistently and master self-discipline with that goal in mind.

Start with a small step. Change is hard and our brains are wired to return to what feels comfortable and predictable. Big changes can be really hard. But if you start slow, you can build momentum without getting overwhelmed. Let's say if you want to start walking 30 minutes a day, six days a week, start with five minutes a day. If you feel like continuing after five minutes, go for it! When our mind thinks it's going to be easy, it allows us to get started, and then we can use that momentum to keep going.

It's important to develop self-discipline in life. Self-discipline is make us do high-quality work, even when we're tired. You have ambitious and are ready to reach your goals. But if you don't know the strategy, you're ambitious and your goals are meaningless. So take one strategy, one step, one change to move forward. You have the power t be more disciplined. Thank you and have a nice day 😀. You can do this!

About Phubbing

In the Digital Era, smartphones have become the number one priority in society. When it comes to our smartphones, nothing else in our lives gets as much attention. A single notification can branch to half days only checking the status or short videos on social media. If we lose it, the stress starts to build up rapidly. Getting by without a smartphone really is not possible anymore, and from that other areas of our lives are bound to be affected.   Phubbing describes the act of "phone-snubbing". It is a term that most people might not be familiar with, but the action is certainly one we all recognise. If we are going outside let's say, how often have we been physically in the presence of someone, but they're emotionally "not there" because they are absorbed in their smartphone? Quite a lot, isn't it?   Smartphones and text messaging help partners display love and affection to each other when they are physically apart. However, what happens when smart...
